{=} Don’t miss your “Uncrustaburger”

1 min read

This weekend I went to the Minnesota State Fair with no real plan. Our group was just wandering, following the crowds, stopping wherever looked interesting. It was fun… but by the end of the day, I realized we’d completely missed the one thing we’d most wanted to try: the Uncrustaburger. All that walking, all those stops, and somehow the main event slipped by.

It struck me how often this happens outside the fairgrounds, too. Without a little clarity on what matters most, it’s easy to fill our time—or our work—with things that look good in the moment but don’t move us toward what we really want.

The same is true in branding and design. If everything gets equal weight, the most important message gets lost in the noise. Clear priorities make the experience memorable.

This weekend, maybe take a moment to decide what your “Uncrustaburger” is—the one thing you don’t want to leave undone—and give it your best attention.

Here’s to a weekend of less wandering and more savoring.
